First-Year Orientation is a mandatory, two-day overnight program that will introduce you to all things Channel Islands. At orientation, you will learn about CI-specific policies, programs, and services to assist you in a successful academic, emotional, cultural, and social transition.
Orientation will help start your college experience and set you up for a successful academic journey. You will meet peers from all backgrounds who will change the way you see yourself and the world. Get ready for new friendships and experiences!
As a new first-year student you are required to:
- Attend your Academic Advising & Course Registration Session
- Submit records of immunity for CI’s general immunization requirements
- Attend your First-Year Orientation Session (orientation is an overnight experience)
